Hyke Hasratian

HYKE HASRATIAN, BS, MBA - Director of Outpatient & Transitional Services

Hyke Hasratian has been affiliated with the recovery industry for an approximate time of 15 years. He has a direct and indirect relationship with the deep-rooted intricacies of addiction.

Hyke delved into the realm of recovery by first experiencing the harsh realties of being personally afflicted with the disease of addiction. Upon the personal path of recovery he has allowed himself the freedom of the bondage that is associated with being an addict.

Hyke’s philosophy is based on Buddhist Principles that creates a personal world of Balance, Harmony, Compassion, and instrumental inner-peace by living a purposeful and fulfilled committed life to sobriety.

He thrives in the professional culture of helping others overcome similar battles with addiction and alcoholism. He states the rewards are priceless when one is able to assist in extracting the darkness out of a client and watching light fill in the voids. The feeling is so powerfully changing that the process becomes more interesting and fascinating as the journey unwinds.

He loves working at New Roads Treatment center with Eric Schmidt, Kevin Kindlin and Dr. Troy Lunceford, as well as the rest of the entire team that comprises New Roads. He especially acknowledges the hard work, effort and performance of the support staff.

ANTHONY T. ALONZO,  MS, LMFT, CFLE - Therapist

Upon completing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University, I gained experience working with at risk teens and their families in a residential treatment setting. I soon realized that I would need to further my education in order to fully engage in my profession, and in 2005, I began my doctoral studies at Loma Linda University.

Throughout my professional experience, I have been privileged to work with individuals, couples, and families within a variety of therapeutic settings. I have delivered services at community clinics, residential treatment centers, in-home proctor families, emotional growth schools, adolescent in-home aftercare, non-profit agencies, and private practice.

I have spent many years working with at risk teens presenting with a variety of problems including stealing, gang involvement, parental disrespect, poor academic performance, and drug use. I also enjoy working with distressed couples and families, particularly issues related to intimacy, divorce, and adjustment.

While many therapists feel overwhelmed, stressed, and burned out, I enjoy joining with my clients as they engage in the work necessary to resolve their presenting problems. My particular modality of therapy draws upon the established approaches including Experiential Family Therapy, Structural - Strategic Family Therapy, Gestalt, and Emotion Focused Therapy. I rely upon the therapeutic relationship to create the safety needed for clients to face the difficult work they need to do in order to overcome their presenting problems.

It has been a privilege working with the hundreds of clients whom I have provided therapy for.
