How We Help...
Our holistic approach to addiction treatment design is based on the most up-to-date research and includes substance abuse counseling, mental health therapy, life coaching, educational consultation, vocational counseling, and other clinical services specifically targeted to the developmental needs of young adults. This holistic model enables autonomy, growth, and success for each individual client and their families. We recognize that progression is different for everyone. And we celebrate every facet of change as it occurs—which keeps our clients engaged in the process and committed to ongoing change.

At New Roads, we believe in combining our experience with the most up-to-date substance abuse therapy, working not only on our clients' continued abstinence from drugs and alcohol through substance abuse therapy, but also any depression, anxiety, attitude, or other problems.

Where We Are Located...
We are located in Orem, Utah, next to Utah Valley University, surrounded by endless opportunities for employment, recreation, and academic experiences. We deliberately chose a location that provided so much opportunity in order to ensure that our clients could develop the necessary tools to find a "New Road" into society and become productive, responsible, and contributing members of the community.

What We Offer...

• Fully Furnished Apartments Including Utilities - We make sure that the client has a comfortable and drug-free living environment so that they can focus on their treatment and their journey towards a New Road
• 24/7 Staff Support (on-site) – This ensures a safe environment and that the client will always have a readily accessible resource
• Individual, Group and Family Therapy, provided by Licensed, Master Level Therapists
• 12 Step Meetings: We facilitate meetings at our facility as well as encourage clients to attend other meetings to expand their overall support network
• Life Coaches – Our clients receive weekly meetings with a life coach so that they may have a mentor to offer additional, personal guidance throughout the treatment process
• Schooling Options - We allow and facilitate our clients to pursue their GED, traditional college, distance learning, and certificate programs. We believe education is a strong component of a plan for long-term sobriety
• Medication Management/Assessment – We employ an on-staff physician who can assess and monitor
• Employment Opportunities – We know that finding employment can be a difficult step for someone in the early stages of recovery. We are here to help that process become easier and a rewarding experience for our client
• Life Skills Groups Focusing on Self-Reliance and "Real World" Experiences
• Scuba Certification and Excursions (additional cost)
• Recreation - Yoga, gym, skiing, water sports, hiking, mountain Biking, repelling, and many other experiential activities
• Community Service Opportunities – Often, clients who enjoy fuller, sober lives want to give back to the community. We allow them to do so
• Random Drug Testing – Ensuring a sober environment is one of our top priorities. We want to make sure that your loved one is in a safe place where they can learn to live differently
